Trefoil Networks Ltd established her first division (TFnet) in 2004. TFnet managed her PABX solutions that existed in Lagos, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Onitsha, while her Satellite VSAT solution were deployed across local and remote locations, including offshores in Nigeria and some of its neighboring countries. Trefoil Networks Ltd rolled out its WiFi wireless solution called Tfnet Wireless in 2007. TFnet Wireless further extends its enterprise VSAT broadband internet to homes and office users, especially users who could not afford full VSAT terminal equipment. Attached to its WiFi solutions were LAN and WLAN installation and management solutions. Major end users were Hotels, Schools, Industries and Government Agencies. As an adaptive and innovative company whom its common goal is to provide best and affordable services to its clients, the company lunched the GoSat solution in 2010, in order to bridge the gap in cost of installation and maintenance that was found in its VSAT solution. GoSat Solution further increased company’s number of point of presence in Nigeria.

In 2010, requirements for automated data subscription over WiFi platform gave the company a wave to develop and deploy its Hotspot solution. This solution further increase efficiency in billing data usage, where user’s profiles are allocated with suitable bandwidth and queuing. However, majority of company’s clients used the hotspot solution as their organizational internet login portal. Moreover, in 2012, the company knew that gaming up its internet services, closing gaps and providing for limitations was not only for the interest of the company but also for the interest of a greater society whom their businesses require more reliable, affordable and speedy internet. To that, the company partnered with Airtel to pioneer the connectivity of Fibre Optic Internet behind her Wireless solution. This model of her service further reduced latency to 8%, hence; faster connectivity was achieved across company’s wireless network. In her quest to help propagate penetration of high speed broadband services in Nigeria, Trefoil Networks Ltd developed its dedicated internet and broad solutions in partnership with: Airtel in 2012, Glo in 2015, and MTN in 2015. To this extend, very low latency was achieved across her network. However, one of the global requirement for connected nodes on the internet is reachability. Reachability of a node on the internet is simple when these nodes are assigned with Public IP addresses. Therefore, Trefoil Network Ltd, partnered with Africa Internet Registry (AFRINIC) in 2017 to obtain pools of public IP address, which is further reassigned to its client’s nodes.Trefoil Networks Limited has maintained its commitment to Federal Republic of Nigeria in ensuring that standard quality of service is maintained and licenses are obtained as applicable across all services.
Broadcast Sat Solution test and deployment was a milestone achieved by Trefoil network Ltd, in 2015. This solution backhauls specific VSAT client locations over the satellite footprints and through a central hub. With Broadcast Sat Solution, private virtual network were achieved. This was achieved in partnership with Nigeria communication Satellite (Nigcomsat) and others satellite providers. Its primary users were Commercial Banks, TV and radio stations, Industries, etc, under the satellite footprints. In 2016, the company successfully completed its 1st Lease line service contract. This brought a breakthrough in expanding and centralizing its existing wireless service and PABX solutions across satellite towns in Nigeria. Hence: increased efficiency of her head-end performance and guarantees 99.9% visibility from her NOC.
Trefoil Networks Ltd having attained these great milestones decided to take a step further lunching more divisions as found is in her profile, to be able to handle some of the great achievements it had made in the past. The company established 3 other divisions are follows: Tfmediacast, which started its operation as a media and broadcasting arm of the company in 2017 Tfhost also started in 2017 and it’s a leading Domain Name registrar and Hosting Service Company. It is an accredited licensed company by NIRA. TFhost was recently recognized as the best hosting company of the year (2018) by the Nigerian Internet Registrars Association (NiRA). TeS is another milestone and division attained by Trefoil Networks Ltd in 2017 and Tes focuses on web software applications and development. Alongside with these achievements, the company has obtained interesting and commendable awards. Some of the awards were given from her partners while others were given by regulators and international players in the ICT industries. Few of the awards are: Best Value Added Partner of the year, Best Local Hosting Company of the year 2018, Most Innovative Internet Protocol Solutions Provider, Most Preferred Quality IP Centric Company of the year.
